Welcome! Let’s meet the team!

Prior to launching Village Lane, Rebecca’s work included writing and editing books, periodicals, plays, and academic journals.  She has worked as a book reviewer, book buyer, writing coach, journalist, author and editor. She won the Book Arts Bash National Writing Competition and holds a Master’s from Georgetown University in International Business and Policy. She has lived in Morocco, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and several locations across the United States. When not publishing the next great book, Rebecca enjoys outdoor adventures, practicing bonsai, and watching spy movies.

Elizabeth M. has worked with books for many years, including at the Library of Congress and at local libraries in the mountain west. She has published in a variety of genres and holds a BA in English from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Library Science from Valdosta University. When not publishing, Elizabeth loves playing and designing all sorts of games, creating works of art, and baking.

Joshua W. is a lifelong storyteller who began writing his own books as a teenager before attending film school and founding a video production company. He has worked on feature films, created award-winning commercials and comedic shorts, and produced viral videos that have garnered tens of millions of views. Now living on a self-sustaining homestead in the American Midwest with his wife and two children, Josh continues to craft compelling stories, both in print and on screen.
