Village Lane offers cooperative publishing services for novels and non-fiction books, as well as children’s picture books.
At Village Lane, we are here to coach you through the entire self-publishing process, from manuscript critiques and formatting, to cover design, optimization, and pricing. Do you wonder what an ISBN is and how to get one? We’re here to help you- with this and every other step in the process! You will retain your book’s publishing rights, 100% of all royalties, and maintain control of your book and all future sales.

Coaching Services
Publishing Coach- Professional Package
Publish your book with a professional, while learning how to do it all yourself in the future! This package combines a one-on-one self-publishing coaching class with personal guidance as I work with you, every step of the way, to help you self-publish your book. I will coach you through everything, saving you time and money and providing you with the skills you need to succeed with your current and future books!
Note: Because we will work together on publishing your book, if there are parts you prefer not to learn or do yourself, I am happy to do them for you. You can do as much or as little as you choose.
The VLP Publishing Coach- Professional Package includes everything you need to LEARN and ACTUALLY self- publish your book on Amazon, as both an eBook and as a paperback. I include personalized, individual, one-on-one services you won’t find at this price elsewhere, including:
Professional Manuscript Critique– complete feedback on all elements of your manuscript prior to publication, so you can be certain you are publishing your best possible work. (See below for more details)
Cover Analysis and Recommendations– including details on the best fonts, colors, and images to ensure your book’s cover is professional and attracts your intended audience. (If you would like your cover designed for you, see below.)
Formatting– for both Kindle and Paperback, including a fully-clickable table to contents for Kindle. (For picture books, or books that contain multiple graphics or illustrations outside of chapter headings, there is a $50 additional fee for formatting.)
Set Up on Amazon KDP– step by step guidance, or done for you- your choice! I’ll walk you through it, or handle it all for you.
Keyword Optimization– Your book’s optimal keywords allow interested buyers to find your book on Amazon. I’ll do a back-end analysis of the up-to-the-hour most often-used search terms for books like yours and provide you with exactly the keywords you need to be found quickly on Amazon, and will provide you with the information you need to do this yourself in the future!
Category Optimization– Your book can be listed in multiple categories, and choosing these correctly directly influences how likely your book is to become a best-seller. I’ll make sure you are in the best categories for your book.
Pricing Recommendations– includes details on the prices of similar books and how well they are selling so you can price your book with confidence.
ISBN – There are multiple options for ISBNs. We will discuss them and you can choose the option that is best for you.
